עיריית פתח תקווה וארגון יד לבנים הארצי יקימו את מוזיאון למלחמות ישראל בפתח תקווה - מרכז לימוד המורשת הצה"לית

עיריית פתח תקווה וארגון יד לבנים הארצי מקדמים בימים אלו את הקמת מוזיאון מלחמות ישראל אשר ינציח את מערכות ישראל ויהווה מרכז לימוד המורשת של צה"ל. ההחלטה התקבלה בפגישה שנערכה לאחרונה בהשתתפות ראש העיר רמי גרינברג, יו"ר יד לבנים אלי בן שם, מנכ"ל יד לבנים אל"מ במיל' גל אברהם, יו"ר יד לבנים פ"ת אבישי והב וגורמי המקצוע בעירייה.

מוזיאון המלחמה יוקם בעזרת סיוע מצד הקהילות היהודיות בחו"ל ובימים הקרובים יערך סיור מקצועי במספר אזורים בעיר במטרה לאתר שטח מתאים. על פי התכנון, המוזיאון יכלול התייחסות לכל מערכות ישראל ומורשת הקרב הצה"לית, סימולטורים מתקדמים אשר ידמו ישיבה במטוס קרב ובכלי מלחמה נוספים ועוד. המוזיאון יאפשר להנגיש לציבור הרחב את תורת הלחימה והמורשת הצה"לית לאורך ההיסטוריה ובו יתקיימו גם אירועי מורשת לחיילים ולתלמידים. הנחת אבן הפינה צפויה להתקיים ביום הזיכרון הקרוב במעמד בכירים בצה"ל ובציבוריות הישראלית.
