ראש העיר גרינברג פנה לשר הביטחון בבקשה לפתוח מרפאת 'ביקור רופא' בפתח תקווה

ראש העיר רמי גרינברג פנה לשר הביטחון הנכנס, ח"כ יואב גלנט בבקשה לפתוח בעיר מרפאת ביקור רופא בעיר לטובת חיילי וחיילות צה"ל המתגוררים בעיר. בקשה זו באה לאחר שראש העיר פנה במהלך 2019 אל אודי אדם מנכ"ל משרד הביטחון, ד"ר טאריף באדר קצין רפואה ראשי בצה"ל ואל אמנון כהן יו"ר ומנכ"ל ביקור רופא, ופנייתו טרם נענתה.

ראש העיר אשר ציין בבקשתו כי העיר פתח תקוה היא הרביעית בגודלה במדינת ישראל, עיר הממשיכה לצמוח ולגדול, המהווה מוקד מטרופוליני ובה מרכזי בריאות מהגדולים והחשובים בארץ.

במכתב כתב ראש העיר גרינברג "העיר מונה כ-270,000 תושבים ומספר החיילים המשרתים בשירות סדיר, קבע או מילואים הינו ביחס ישיר וכנגזרת למספר תושביה, אולם, הם מנועים משימוש במרכזים הרפואיים המצויים ברחבי העיר כמו גם במרפאות הקהילה ונאלצים "לנדוד" לערים אחרות על מנת לזכות בשירותי בריאות… לאור היותה של פתח תקוה עיר מרכזית בארץ ולאור מספר החיילים המתגוררים בה, מתעורר צורך וודאי לפתיחת סניף "ביקור רופא" בתחומה, אשר יקנה גישה פשוטה יותר ומענה מידי לצרכי החיילים תושבי העיר".

עוד הוסיף ראש העיר: "לצערי, אני מרגיש כי לאחר למעלה משלוש שנים של פניות בנושא כה חשוב ומשמעותי לתושבי העיר, אנו חוזרים לנקודת ההתחלה".
